BPS Global Has Successfully Launched the First Automated Logistics Center for Mini-Storage Industry in Hong Kong

In recent years, surging property price leads to limited storage space for both household and commercial users. Previous mini-storage fire accident in industrial building aroused public concern on safety issue of mini-storage industry. In the light of above circumstances, BPS Global introduced the first Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) technology to local mini storage industry, Storefriendly. With a mobile phone application, designated storage cabinet can be transported to the guests. This pioneering idea not only greatly improved the storage efficiency to the industry but also realized the concept of “goods to person” which provides a superior enjoyment to customers. The technology eliminates the time and inconvenience of users entering and leaving a crowded warehouse. Besides, the layout of mini-warehouse is in line with fire safety guidelines, along with 24-hour monitoring system and temperature control to effectively minimize the risk of accidents.

The entire project in which solution design, supply, installation, implementation, testing & commissioning and skills transfer to client was completed within two months in order to save cost in a rented site.
