Optimize the Storage in Hospital Authority Supporting Services Centre

BPS Global has been awarded a contract from the Hospital Authority to design and build the Hospital Authority Supporting Services Centre (HASSC) in Tung Chung for the supply and installation of Shuttle Racking System. This advanced automatic storage and handling system will provide the central emergency storage for personal protective equipment storage and linen storage. The solution includes the provision and installation for Automated Guided Forklift (AGF) truck and Pallet Shuttle system. The automatic operation is fully unmanned with the latest ‘video analytic’ technology and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.).

The AGF will fully integrate with manual cargo lift to take care the inter-floor transportation from loading bays to the designated storage floor. The Pallet Shuttle system have the capability to change level and aisle by automatic interface with AGF. The Pallet Shuttle system will also perform battery charging automatically upon low battery level. The whole project will be completed by 2024. It is a significant project for BPS Global to strengthen the position in Hospital Authority automation related business.
