BPS Global is pleased to announce that we customize services in design, supply and install an advanced “Automatic High Bay Robot System” for a leading online bookstore in Sydney, Australia.
Our client planned to improve the automation facilities at its 160,000 sq.ft. Sydney distribution center to double its daily inbound and outbound capacity and keep up with growing demand for popular titles.
The High Bay Robot system assists our client to reduce labour demand on “carton picking” and “item picking” operations, as a result to improve accuracy and efficiency.
This is Australia’s first “Automatic High Bay Robot System”. Upon the successful launch of the first phase, second phase will be rolled out, this project will be completed by the end of 2020. Australia’s logistics automation market is expected to set for significant change.
